Natus Vincere, or just NAVI, was founded over 8 years ago by the merging of two rosters and since then the team has become a household name in Counter-Strike. Still housing two of the original founding players in Edward and Zeus, the team has a rich history and an overflowing trophy cabinet, living up to the Latin translation of the team’s name – “born to win”.

The CIS (the Commonwealth of Independent States) general, Zeus has lead NAVI since its creation in 2009, except for a brief 9 month period between late 2016 and mid 2017 where he played for Gambit and not only won the biggest prize in CS:GO, the major, but also became the oldest player to have ever done so. Zeus is perhaps known best for his exceptionally slow playstyle, running the clock down to the very last seconds on the T side.
Edward is another founding member of NAVI, alongside Zeus. Much like Zeus he has also left the team briefly, playing for Astana Dragons for 4 months during late 2013 before returning. Edward is known for his incredible skills with pistols.
Ending 8th in 2016 and 4th in 2017 in the best players of the year, anything less than 1st in 2018 would be a disappointment for s1mple. A player who has always been known for his raw talent, 2018 with NAVI has allowed him to showcase it consistently to the world, ending with 5 MVP awards so far, including two events his team did not win at. Some argue he may be playing at the highest peak of any player in the history of Counter-Strike.
The youngest and newest member of NAVI many believed he was being held back on his previous team, and they have arguably been proven correct. Since joining the rosterNAVI have gone from playoff contenders to championship contenders at every event. electronic’s performances are at the heart of their success, regularly putting up superstar statistics to join s1mple.
